The U.S. Olympic wrestling team decides who heads to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games on Saturday night as the stage sets for the team trial finals from State College, PA.

Following an incredibly successful run in the 2020 Olympics — which saw the United States captured a total of nine medals, including three golds from Gable Steveson, David Taylor, and Tamyra Mensah-Stock — the team looks for another big year at the 2024 Games.

The finals feature a number of top names competing for a coveted spot on the U.S. Olympic team, including Taylor returning to capture a second gold medal in 2024. Taylor is widely considered the No. 1 pound-for-pound wrestler in the world currently after winning the World Championships in both 2022 and 2023 following his Olympic-winning performance in Tokyo, which included a dominant victory over Hassan Yazdani from Iran.

Kyle Snyder also returns seeking his third straight Olympic birth after capturing gold in 2016 and then winning silver at the 2020 Games. His biggest test may come from J’den Cox, an Olympic bronze medalist who has faced off with Snyder in numerous matches since they were both in high school.

A total of six weight divisions are represented in the U.S. Olympic team trial finals, with 57kg, 65kg, 74kg, 86kg, 97kg and 125kg all being decided on Saturday.
