PWInsider.com is reporting that Natalya has signed a new
multi-year deal with WWE as she came mighty close to free
agency.
The 42-year-old is one of the longest-serving WWE Superstars
on the roster, having signed with the company in 2007,
making this her 17th year.
Her leaving WWE would have probably also affected the role
of TJ Wilson, her husband, who is one of the highly-regarded
producers in WWE, especially when it comes to women matches.
Recently, Mercedes Mone said in an interview that there’s a
husband-and-wife team in WWE who she would really like them
to join AEW, referring to Neidhart and Wilson.
While she’s been working with the company for nearly two
decades, Natalya has only won titles on three different
occasions, winning the Divas title, Smackdown women’s title,
and the Women’s Tag Team titles with Tamina.
