Paul Hughes will compete under the Bellator banner on June 22, when the company returns to Dublin, Ireland for an event at the 3Arena. PFL announced the news Sunday, revealing that Hughes will battle Bobby King in a lightweight co-main event.

The headlining attraction features Bellator welterweight champion Jason Jackson defending his title opposite unbeaten Ramazan Kuramagomedov.

Hughes (11-1) has made waves in the European scene, winning the Cage Warriors belt and avenging the sole defeat of his career before entering free agency on a five-fight winning streak. Hughes signed with PFL days after his latest victory in Ireland, finishing Fabiano Silva in one round.

King (12-6) has gone 3-3 so far under the Bellator umbrella with a notable win over Nick Newell in his promotional debut in June 2021, plus a stoppage over previously unbeaten prospect Aviv Gozali. King dropped his past two in decision defeats to Gadzhi Rabadanov and Allen Cruz.

Check the updated lineup below. PFL announced that a previously announced clash between Peter Queally and Yancy Medeiros was cancelled due to undisclosed reasons.
