In memory of Kamala James Harris: 1950 2020.Then. Now. Forever. The WWE video leads us into the show.

The Raw video plays, and we go into the Performance Center.

Samoa Joe is in the ring, which has a table with two chairs
on opposite sides and one at the head. Joe says this is a
unique contract signing as the second contract signed will
sign this person to WWE. Joe first welcomes the self-
proclaimed Messiah, Seth Rollins. Rollins comes out with
Murphy by his side. Joe then introduces the man with a baby
face, but a man who has been taking it to Crossfits
favorite cult leader, Dominik Mysterio. Mysterio comes out
with entrance music and is holding a kendo stick.

Rollins says if Mysterio wants to be a man, he needs to lose
the kendo stick. Mysterio looks like a coward and a little
boy. Samoa Joe says Rollins is right. This would be safer
with him. Rollins asks if Joe thinks this is funny. Joe says
this is sad. Joe has the kendo stick. What Joe should be
seeing is Seth Freakin' Rollins. Instead, he sees a man
that had the WWE Universe boo him a few times and get caught
up in his feelings to justify doing whatever he wants when
he wants. This made him think it was ok to take out Rey
Mysterios eye and go after Aleister Blacks eye. The
saddest thing of all is hes watching Seth Freakin'
Rollins give a young man with zero to no training give him
no choice but to face him in the ring. Rollins tells him to
stop. Rollins has given Dominik a choice every step of the
way and he made the wrong decision. The same goes for his
father, Rey Mysterio, and Aleister Black. Joe might follow
the same path. The person who had no choice was Seth Freakin' Rollins.
Rollins was the one forced into this situation. He tried to
be Mr. Burn It Down, but he got crapped on by every person
here and watching at home. Rollins had no choice in becoming
the Monday Night Messiah and making sacrifices for the
greater damn good. Rollins has to know when is it going to
be enough for everyone. Dominik says it will never be
enough. Dominik says Rollins makes excuses for all the
ungodly things he does. Aleister isnt the same. His father
lost his confidence. Rollins has changed the lives of good
men for the worst. Rollins uses the greater good as an
excuse, but the greater good Rollins fights for is himself.
Rollins says Dominik is ungrateful. Dominik is on the cusp
of fulfilling his dream of becoming a WWE Superstar and
doesnt understand that its all because of him. Dominik
should be on his knees thanking him. Dominik says Rollins is
right. This was his dream, but now his dream is to kick
Rollins ass at SummerSlam.

Rollins cackles and says we all know Dominik wouldnt last
10 seconds in a regular, standard, one-on-one wrestling
match with him. Rollins is the best wrestler of his
generation, but hell do Dominik a favor. Dominik seems to
be handy with the kendo stick, so at SummerSlam, Rollins
will allow him to bring that with him. Rollins wants Dominik
to have every opportunity at his disposal so he and his
family have no excuse when he ends his career before it ever
begins. Rollins signs the contract to face Dominik Mysterio
at SummerSlam. Dominik takes the contract and signs it as
well. Dominik also signs his WWE contract. Rollins
sarcastically claps for the newest WWE Superstar, then tells
him to get the hell out of the ring. Rollins tells him to
take notes as he faces Humberto Carrillo and watch what will
happen to him at SummerSlam.
Humberto Carrillo makes his entrance. Hell face Rollins,

-Commercial Break-

Randy Orton says he has every right to be upset with Ric
Flair, but he cant be angry at The Nature Boy Ric Flair.
Orton has every right to be pissed off with him because this
match against Kevin Owens wasnt needed. Flairs ego got him
into this mess. Orton cant be angry with him. Flair is the
Dirtiest Player in the Game. Orton has known that. Orton
grew up with Flair around. Flair has had his back for 20
years and taught him everything he knows. Flair is part of
the reason hes been in the ring for 20 years. Orton asks if
Flair remembers back in 2002 or 2003 in Peoria, Illinois.
Orton got into some trouble. Nobody came to help him or was
by his side except Flair. Flair bailed out this 22-year-old
punk ass. Orton respected and loved Flair after all that
but he doesnt respect or love him anymore because he is a
liability to him and his career and everything hes trying
to do. Flair knows why he took a young Randy Orton under his
wing. Flair was thinking he could be the son he wishes he
had. Flair sadly looks down.

Orton asks if he sees tears in those old ass eyes. All Flair
is good for is crying. This isnt the Ric Flair that
everyone looked up to years ago. This isnt the Ric Flair
that taught him everything. The Ric Flair he knows wouldnt
need a pacemaker to keep his heart going or slipped into a
coma two summers ago. The old Ric Flair wasnt a whore for
the spotlight. Flair is a junkie for the spotlight. Flair is
washed up and cant do it anymore. At SummerSlam, he has the
opportunity to take the WWE Championship for the 14th time.
Thats all Flair needed to worry about. Instead, he was
worried about himself.

Flair takes the microphone. Flair says hes taking this very
personally and hears him but he wants to tell Orton a few
things about him. That Ric Flair that Orton came to see in
2001 isnt here anymore. Orton is right. Does he like the
spotlight? Yeah. Does he like to call Orton the greatest?
Yeah. Does he want to be part of the spotlight? Yes. Hes
71-years-old. Hes on Raw. Hes got guys like Hulk Hogan
calling him up asking how it is. Flair wants to be here when
Orton wins his 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th titles. Flair
wants Orton to beat his record not John Cenas record.
Orton grew up on those titles. Ortons father knows what he
was all about. Driving 3,000 miles for $150 with no cell
phones.Does Orton know why he cant get mad? After 31 days of being
in intensive care and in a coma for 12 of them, he woke up
and wanted to tell the people he hadnt told that he loves
them and let everyone know that he loves them. Flair called
everyone around him because you have to be where he was to
know how he felt. All he is is Charlottes dad and wants to
be in Randys life. Flair is having the time of his life
coming out with him. All he wants is to walk that aisle with
