Tim Williams signs with the UFC, meets Oskar Piechota at UFC Austin

Two-time TUF contestant Tim Williams will make his Octagon debut when he faces Oskar Piechota at the UFC Austin card on Feb. 18, multiple sources told MMA Fighting.

The Fight Night card takes place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, and features Donald Cerrone vs. Yancy Medeiros in the main event.

Williams (15-3), who was part of the 17th and 19th seasons of the UFCs reality show in 2012 and 2013, joins the company after winning five in a row on the regional circuit. The South Jersey Strangler holds wins over UFC veterans Jay Silva, Nah-shon Burrell, Ronald Stallings and Andre Gusmao.

Piechota (10-0-1) scored a unanimous decision victory over Jonathan Wilson in his UFC debut last October, scoring his seventh straight victory since fighting to a draw in the Polish scene in 2013. In his last fight before signing with the UFC, the 27-year-old talent beat Jason Radcliffe to win the vacant Cage Warriors middleweight belt.
