Pedro Munhoz vs. Rob Font added to UFC Fight Night 119 in Brazil

The UFC today announced a bantamweight bout between Pedro Munhoz and Rob Font is set for UFC Fight Night 119, which takes place Oct. 28 atIbirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and airs on FS1 following prelims on UFC Fight Pass.The addition of Munhoz-Font comes on the same day Glover Teixeira vs. Misha Cirkunov was moved from the card to UFC on FOX 26 on Dec. 16 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Munhoz (14-2-1 MMA, 4-2-1 UFC) will enter the bout riding the momentum of a three-fight winning streak. In two of those wins, Munhoz was awarded “Performance of the Night” bonuses for submissions. His most recent victory came via unanimous decision over Damian Stasiak at UFC Fight Night 109 in May.
Font (14-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) has won back to back fights. Most recently he defeatedDouglas Silva de Andrade with a guillotine-choke submission at UFC 213 in July to earn a “Performance of the Night” bonus.
