It is with great sadness CWE management has to report that we were contacted by Julie Valentine, the wife of Greg Valentine informing us that Greg became violently ill last night and was hopeful he would be feeling better before his flight this evening but is in need of medical attention and will not be able to attend this weekend's CWE Legends Of Wrestling & Professional Sports Convention 2 in Winnipeg.
Luckily CWE has friends in high places and within minutes of the bad news CWE Legends Of Wrestling 2 headliner Ron "Faarooq" Simmons saved the day securing the services of one of the most memorable personalities of all time and Attitude Era legend D-Lo Brown to replace Valentine!

WOW! Want to talk about a blockbuster?
The ink is still drying on a HUGE main event signed for the major live event in conjunction with CWE's Legends Of Wrestling and it is one of mass proportions.
Two men who are not only top stars in Canadian Wrestling's Elite in the present moment but two men considered to be two major players in CWE for years to come as both men as incredibly successful as they have been have yet to come anywhere near the peak of their potential will do battle on February 24th in Winnipeg with arguably no better mentor by their side to help them reach that potential.
Mr. Inkredible returned to CWE to much popularity on The Pick Your Poison Tour after a near year hiatus and he returned in a big way by issuing an accepted challenge by The Cannon Clan that will potentially see the Confederate Flag officially gone from CWE.
On February 24th in preparation for that big 6 man tag team match on June 1st at the 9th Anniversary Show he will get a warm up match so to speak against one of his opponents on that night in Jacob Creed.
Full of passion and emotion about the issue Mr. Inkredible is very serious about ridding The Cannon Clan and their beliefs from CWE and has the right man to do so in his corner in Ron Simmons, the first ever African American World Champion.
Ron Simmons is no stranger to success and more importantly breaking racial barriers and that is something Mr. Inkredible is looking to do 25 years after Ron Simmons won the World Championship.
It won't be an easy task by any means on June 1st or specifically on Feb 24th as Jacob Creed will have the guidance of a former World Champion himself and a man regarded by many as one of the greatest of all time in Barry Windham.
Jacob Creed is a big, agile cowboy just like Barry Windham with many similarities drawn to the two of them. If Jacob Creed is able to tap into Windham's knowledge and experience this very well could be a break out singles performance and win for one half of the CWE Tag Team Champions.
We know Inkredible and Creed will be throwing down on February 24th but if things get out of hand we also know both Simmons and Windham aren't afraid to throw down either if need be!
Tag Team Attraction Match WWE Hall Of Famer Tito Santana & 3x CWE Champion "Hotshot" Danny Duggan vs. D-Lo Brown & 1st Ever CWE Champion "The Canadian Crusher" AJ Sanchez
Rumors have been running rampant and it can now officially be confirmed as the contracts are inked but the first ever live event held in association with the Legends Of Wrestling Convention will now host a once in a life time tag team attraction match!
"Hotshot" Danny Duggan and "The Canadian Crusher" AJ Sanchez have been battling since CWE's inception and no matter what direction they go off on in CWE or their careers outside the organization it always comes back around where these two men do battle in what is always some of the best produced matches in company history.
The Legends Of Wrestling is an event to celebrate the memories the legends appearing have created and on February 24th this match promises to create more!
Former TNA X-Division Champion "Honey Badger" Johnny Devine vs. Roy "Flash" Gordon
CWE's Pick Your Poison Tour saw Roy "Flash" Gordon "break out" with two CWE career defining performances against The Bullet Club's "Crown Jewel" Chase Owens in Winnipeg and Thunder Bay and those performances have earned him an opportunity to show he isn't a one hit wonder at CWE's Legends Of Wrestling on February 24th.
In a match that is not only likely to be a show stealer but a Match Of The Year candidate if both men are at the very best they have become to be known for Roy "Flash" Gordon will challenge former TNA X Division Champion and Stampede Wrestling Alum "Honey Badger" Johnny Devine.
This match truly is a clash of generations as the hard nosed and gritty Devine is the absolute opposite of the flamboyant and flashy Roy Gordon once the bell rings.
Both men present a completely different style of wrestling than the other but both effective in their own right. One similarity they both share is their ability to strike and strike hard and strike fast.
Roy Gordon is a black belt martial artist and has near crippled men in the CWE locker room with some of his lethal head kicks. You'll be hard pressed to find someone who is going to punch you in the face harder than the original Canadian "Hotshot".
This match guarantees to be nothing short of wrestling magic and you can likely guarantee one of these men if not both will paying a visit to the Seven Oaks Hospital just down the road when these war is over!
