Backstage Situation Described As 8216Chaos8217 At Today8217s WWE Tapings

Sportskeeda’s Gary Cassidy reports that the situation backstage at the WWE tapings today at the WWE Performance Center is not good. It was described as ‘totally unprepared’ and ‘chaos from the top.’ The first episode of RAW, scheduled for tonight, is being changed ‘on the fly’. The second, which airs next week is reportedly unfinished.

Overall, it’s said that there was a lack of leadership right now and stress due to the lack of decisions being made.

A source said: “The shows will happen and air, but there’s no attainable goal of quality because everything is decided under the pressure cooker of it all coming down to the very last minute.

This isn’t the first time the backstage atmosphere has been described as ‘chaos’ with multiple rewrites of RAW and Smackdown in recent weeks. But today is said to be ‘wilder than normal’ and Vince McMahon’s mood is described as ‘volatile’. As for Summerslam, there is allegedly a ‘lack of direction’ three weeks from the event.

Meanwhile, a source told TalkSport’s Alex McCarthy that ‘you wouldn’t believe the half of it.’
