After years of bulldozing through opponents and speculation about whether or not she used performance enhancing drugs, Cris "Cyborg" Santos failed a drug last week.
Her boss, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker, discussed the failed test and questioned the validity of Cyborg_s previous wins this past weekend:
"The thing that_s really sad about the _Cyborg_ thing," said Coker. "It makes you really wonder the validation of all those other fights. So to me I think you will see some faces back in Sgrikeforce with her out.
"Of course you_re concerned for the fighter, you_re concerned for the opponent, you_re concerned for the league, and you_re concerned for the television partner. But at the end of the day, every athlete has to be accountable for their actions. She_s no different ... If you_re going to cheat you shouldn_t be fighting prefessionally against other professional athletes that aren_t cheating.
