DREAM champion, Marius Zaromskis (16-6-0-1) has officially signed a multi-fight contract with Bellator.
While no official debut date has been established, Marius is expected to make his first trip to the Bellato cage sometime this season; Bellator’s sixth.
After a remarkable 2009 that saw “The Whitemare” pick up four victories without a single defeat and capture the DREAM welterweight grand prix title, Zaromskis hit a bit of a rough patch.
A migration to the Strikeforce promotion signaled hard times for the powerful striker, as he dropped back to back fights to Nick Diaz and Evangelista Santos. His third and final fight with the promotion ended in a no contest when Waachiim Spiritwolf suffered an eye poke.
Since 2010 Zaromskis is just 3-3-0-1, though he clearly still possesses the striking acumen to make for a tough out.
