UFC Veteran Kenny Florian had contemplated retirement following a UFC 136 loss to Jose Aldo, the third time he had lost while attempting to gain UFC gold, but his love for the sport and a plan to return to the Lightweight division has Florian ready to make another run for the 155lb. throne.
The Ultimate Fighter 1 alumni spoke to Bleacherreport.com this week and discussed the injuries that have plagued him and when he may return:
"I feel that I have all the skills to get it done," Florian said. "I_ve had different issues over the course of my career, but I_m capable of doing it. It_s just going out there and getting it done. I have some injuries I_m going to let heal for the next two months. Once those things clear up, I_m looking forward to getting back on the race to the title."
