Alistair Overeem Discusses Potential Boxing Career

Alistair Overeem (35-11-0-1) hasn’t lost a mixed martial arts bout in four years, is a multi-sport champion, and stands as (arguably) Strikeforce’s most marketable fighter. It’s hard to imagine a man in such a position contemplating any form of career change; if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.
Alistair Overeem however, doesn’t seem to view things in that particular light.
Speaking with Boxingnews.pl, Alistair shared some very interesting thoughts: apparently “The Demolition Man” is eyeing yet another contact sport, boxing.
Check out a brief quote from Alistair below, before you head over and watch the full video interview at YouTube.com.
"The UFC or maybe boxing... I think (boxing) matches my personality. I_m always looking for a challenge. That came about fighting for K-1 and becoming K-1 Champion - something nobody ever did before. It would be cool to go to boxing and beat the main guy there. I know if you gave me good preparation and good sparring partners, which I can arrange, and with my background already in kickboxing, the K-1 background, I_m sure I can break some bones."
