Matt Hughes will look to remind everyone that he is still one of the top welterweight fighters in the world after being crushed by BJ Penn last November and discussed his training plans for his September return to the Octagon recently:
"If you_re the best guy in the gym, you_re just not getting better. I_m not saying I was the best guy. I_m just saying I wasn_t getting threatened a lot. I will probably be down there to train, but I_ll also be going back up to Pat Miletich_s. I_m going out to Ft. Bragg to train with those guys. I_m going to Arizona to train with (Ryan) Bader and those guys. I plan on being on the road a lot."
Hughes also talked about Sanchez and his hopes for how the fight plays out:
"I think it_s going to be a good fight," Hughes said. "I would love to stop Diego. He_s not easy to stop. That would be great. It_s going to be tough, though. He_s a gamer. You_ve got to be prepared physically and mentally."
