The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale is officially in the books. For those who missed it, Tony Ferguson was the evening’s biggest winner, as he captured a six fight contract and assured future employment with the promotion, but it was co-headliner Clay Guida who pocketed the largest paycheck of the evening.
Guida worked a diligent gameplan that saw the Team Jackson representative ground and control former WEC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis for nearly fifteen full minutes. The win not only added a nice lump sum to Guida’s annual income, it also aligned him for a potential title eliminator against the winner of the Jim Miller/Ben Henderson fight scheduled for UFC Live 5.
