UFC 127 is shaping up to be one truly impressive card. Already tapped for the event is an interesting welterweight clash between former champion BJ Penn and longtime top contender Jon Fitch. Booked for a lightweight clash is the surging George Sotiropoulos who will toe the line with dangerous striker Dennis Siver, and a middleweight match between Jorge Rivera and Michael Bisping looks to be a go.
Now, we’re learning of another likely bout for UFC 127, and it’s a real doozy: fan favorite Spencer Fisher will lock horns with former TUF winner Ross Pearson.
The heavy handed Spencer Fisher will be entering the bout on a high note after defeating Curt Warburton at UFC 120: Bisping VS Akiyama. Pearson on the other hand will be seeking to get back in the win column after being submitted by Cole Miller at UFC Fight Night 22.
Stylistically this fight has fireworks written all over it, as both men prefer to stand and strike, and both are exceptionally durable. It’s another stellar addition to a card that looks to be nothing short of superb.
