The Review :
The main problem with the fact that countless wrestling promotions have had so many television shows, is that so many classic matches tend to slip through the cracks. Or at the very least, many matches where people you’d love to have seen wrestle each other, have either been forgotten, or even the most avid of fan might not realise that they ever happened. And here is a prime example of that.
How can you go wrong with either Ricky Morton, or Barry Windham? Two of the best wrestlers that the 1980’s had to offer, both had countless classic matches that are timeless; and with various styles of opponent.
Ricky Morton is that perennial crowd favourite and underdog that everyone was rooting for, to survive the beating he would take in the ring, and to break out his high flying style of offense, and somehow get the victory.
Barry Windham is that rugged kind of tough, that big man who many would root against, but whom they still respected and knew that their heroes would be in for a hard time with, and would have to be at the top of their game to beat.
Remember, I am not a believer in spoiling the results of matches, I am here simply to get your attention, and make you, the reader; want to go back into time, and appreciate how good things used to be, and help you appreciate professional wrestling once more. All you need to do is click the link, and hop aboard into my time machine to a different era, and make your day that little bit more ‘old school’.
